As a professional manufacturer specializing in rock drilling machinery, Shenli Machinery Pneumatic Company has long been committed to the R&D and production of high-quality pneumatic rock drills. The YT28 air-leg rock drill, as our core product, is specifically designed to adapt to harsh working environments such as mines and tunnels. Characterized by light weight and high performance, the YT28 pneumatic rock drill weighs merely 26kg with a length of 661mm, facilitating easy transportation and operation even in narrow spaces. Adopting advanced forging technology and tungsten carbide-coated blades, it boasts excellent wear resistance—with blade wear as low as 0.07mm after 1000 hours of continuous operation. In addition, it complies with EN ISO 11148-5 safety standards and GB3836.1 explosion-proof standards, making it applicable for wet drilling operations in medium to hard rock formations.

The operation of the YT28 pneumatic rock drill is simple and efficient: first, connect it to a compressed air source using a 25mm air pipe and a 13mm water pipe for dust suppression; then, match it with a 34-42mm drill bit and a 22×108±1mm hexagonal drill shank, adjust the working pressure to the range of 0.5-0.6MPa, and start drilling via the integrated control handle. It can be equipped with an FT160BD short air leg or an FT160BC long air leg to drill horizontal and inclined holes, and can also be installed on trolleys for large-scale construction operations, enabling a single operator to complete drilling tasks efficiently.

Compared with the ordinary rock drills previously adopted in mining operations, the YT28 air leg rock drill exhibits distinct advantages. Traditional ordinary rock drills rely on manual force, which demands substantial physical strength from operators; moreover, their drilling speed decreases significantly as operators experience fatigue, with an average drilling speed of only 30-40mm/min. In contrast, the YT28 pneumatic rock drill features an impact frequency of no less than 34Hz and an impact energy of over 75J, which can enhance drilling efficiency by 60%-80%—its average drilling speed reaches 70-90mm/min, and it is capable of drilling holes up to 5 meters in depth, thereby greatly shortening the construction cycle. Additionally, traditional rock drills generate high noise (up to 130dB) and suffer from poor stability, often leading to construction interruptions due to component damage. The YT28, however, is equipped with a muffler device that reduces noise to a safe level, and its stable operation ensures uninterrupted construction, effectively improving construction continuity.

Choosing Shenli Machinery Pneumatic Company signifies selecting reliability, efficiency and professional support. Unlike other manufacturers, we possess a comprehensive production and quality inspection system; from the selection of raw materials to the delivery of finished products, each link undergoes strict quality testing to ensure the consistency and stability of product performance. The YT28 pneumatic rock drill features strong accessory universality and low maintenance costs. Furthermore, we provide timely after-sales service and professional technical guidance to effectively resolve any problems encountered by customers during product use. The YT28 not only improves drilling efficiency by 60%-80% but also reduces labor intensity, saves energy (with air consumption ≤55L/s) and lowers overall construction costs. Widely applied in mine mining, tunnel excavation and other infrastructure projects, it has become the preferred choice for engineering teams pursuing high efficiency, safety and cost-effectiveness.
